About Us
Following numerous years of professional dance training at schools in the North West and London I continued my Dance career by performing in a wide range of professional musical theatre and commercial dance productions, residential & touring, across the UK and Europe.
Following on from this I developed my dance career and became a dance consultant in Merseyside. I then went onto teaching at several secondary schools and am currently Head of Dance at an 11-18 Secondary School as well as Principle of L.A. Dance Studios.
I created L.A. Dance Studios to provide its current and potential students with the best possible private dance tuition, performance experience and future prospects along with offering accredited examinations from the British Ballet Organisation.
The British Ballet Organisation is a world renown provider for dance. BBO examinations are accredited by the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET) and the Qualifications and Credit Framework which is responsible for regulating accredited examinations in the public and private sector. BBO examinations are also highly valued by Universities and Dance Colleges.
As a student of L.A. Dance studios whether you attend classes for fun, to keep fit or as preparation for a career in the Performing Arts we will give you all the support and encouragement you need to reach your goals. This support will be in the form of outstanding teaching, performance opportunities, advice on routes in to Further and Higher Education, preparation for auditions, University or Dance College selection and advice on funding sources.
L.A. Dance Studios is based at Knowsley Park Centre for Learning and provides a wide range of Dance training for students from the age of 2 upwards.
